WALLACE, Ind.—Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Crumley-Williams Funeral Home in Hillsboro for John Jacob Howard, 65, of Hillsboro Route 1. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery near Wallace with military graveside rites by American Legion Post 188. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Mr. Howard died Sunday (Nov. 3, 1968) at his home and death was attributed to natural causes. He was a farm laborer and had lived in this community 18 years. He moved here from Illinois. He was born Nov. 20, 1902 at Flora, Ky., the son of Rollie and Stella Lee Sapp Howard. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the 96th Infantry Division. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Wallace of Wallace and Mrs. Helen Hughes of Danville, and five brothers, Lloyd and Kenneth, both of Crawfordsville, Charles and Dallas, both of Lakeland, Fla., and Everett of Perrysville.  --typed by Walt W
